SELF PORTRAIT - JACK AND I

Here's a second self portrait done entirely in Photoshop. In my spare time, I indulge in costuming, wearing those costumes to comic book conventions, and Jack Sparrow is one of my more popular characters.

This piece was sketched with a Wacom tablet, inked with the pen tool, and shaded using various techniques.

SELF PORTRAIT

Sketched on paper, then traced and shaded in Photoshop for some nice clean edges. A simple self portrait.

NEW BUSINESS CARDS

I ordered some new business cards via Moo.com, to match the new look of the website, and I must say I'm VERY happy with the quality of print on these things. They're also a nice small size, perfect for putting in any pocket you can think of. I'd highly recommend Moo.com to anyone looking to get high quality printing done.

PORTRAIT SKETCH - ALBERT PUJOLS

While flicking through a comic book, wondering what to draw, I stumbled upon a photo of Major League Baseball star Albert Pujols. Since I don't know anything about baseball, I had no idea who this guy was, but felt compelled to try my hand at a little Drew Struzan inspired portraiture. I really like how this sketch turned out, so it's safe to say I'll probably be doing more portrait sketches in future.

Drawn in pencil, then inked over with Pitt pens, shaded with Letraset markers, and annotated with a white ink pen.

SHAYCARL CHARICATURE

I enjoy watching Vlogs on Youtube, and by far I think my favourite is by a jolly fella by the name of ShayCarl. He's been doing a daily vlog with his family for years now, and his videos are full of energy and humour. I thought I'd try drawing a cartoon version of him to test myself. I wanted to try to capture his enthusiam and personality in this 10-minute digital sketch, and I'm pretty happy with the result.

A DROID ADRIFT

A short I made while studying my BA Animation at UCA Farnham.

WORKING ON A REMODEL

This website was looking pretty crappy and unfinished for a good long time, so thought I'd start from scratch with something that looks ALOT cleaner, and a little easier to navigate. Hopefully you'll enjoy the work I post here, and bookmark this site to revisit again and again. :)
